States hold millions of dollars of unclaimed property. The property is money or other assets that was sent to the state when the owner cannot be located. This may happen when a business, financial institution, or government agency owes you money that you did not collect, such as bank accounts, brokerage accounts, insurance policies, refunds, pensions, or savings bonds.
Each state has its own unclaimed property website where you can search for your name and claim your property if you find it. All 50 States are listed below.
